Friday, December 09, 2005, 11:13 PM
BOOS. x) i am finally BACK! missed me eh? hahas. i just got back from bangkok and a class chalet recently. had lotsa fun man! anyway, i'm sorry for the long delay in updating my blog coz i was god damn freaking busy for dis few days!!! i finally got a job! thanks to jocelyn for the intro. *muacks* hee. will be starting work on monday and the store is located at bugis! wanna noe the exact location? kiss my ass first. LOL. =P anyway, this entries will be full of pictures! most of them are taken during the trip to bangkok. so just enjoy ya? hehes.

the trip to bangkok was a fruitful one. it was an eye-opener and i got to buy a lot of CHEAP stuffs dere. the city was indeed 'the land of smiles'. it really lived up to dis name. the people dere are always smiling and are very friendly. sometimes, i got the feeling that they are too over-friendly? they tend to touch you when things starts to warm up a little. i'm not v used to it i guess. hahas. thy r some unfriendly thais too! shall blog about dem in detail later. so read on. lols.
also, i popped over to 5F's class chalet aft i got back from bangkok. can u imagine that? i went down to the chalet aft i got back from bangkok after one day. i was shopping intensively for 5 FREAKING DAYS in bangkok and i immediately popped over to the chalet aft i got back from bangkok? I AM SO MAD! no time to rest leh! but i will do anything for the sake of FUN. hehes.

MY TRIP TO BANGKOK!

day 1:
only one person came on dis trip with me, and it's none other den my sister. u must be thinking, two girls going overseas? that's so dangerous! but hey, listen up! if my sister and i can make it back safely and i can be sitting down here typing this entry, you shouldn't be worrying much. thanks for the concern anyway. ((: back to the topic! well, both of us heaved out heavy luggages that we spent the previous night packing all the way to changi airport. WE DID NOT TAKE A CAB, MIND YOU. we took an hr long bus all the way down to the airport! it was the normal routine of checking in and entering the customs after that. then, we shopped at the duty-free shops at changi airport and we bought some stuffs! btw, i won't be telling you all what my sister bought during the trip, coz it's not important at all. WHAT I BOUGHT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT TING! lols. anyway, i bought my ipod nano there! it's my wish to get an ipod nano a long time ago and i damn bloody hell got it already! with my own money of course. -.- it's cheaper den what you get in stores in singapore, coz it's duty free! so, if you wan to buy cheap stuffs, buy an air-ticket and get it in the duty free shops in changi airport! ahem. i know it's lame. -.-

no pictures of my ipod nano! you should know how it looks like! if you are a freaking i-don't-know anything-bimbo, visit http://www.apple.com!

we board the plane that will fly us to bangkok after shopping at the airport. the plane took off at about 12.45 pm and i was freaking excited though it wasn't the first time i was on board an aeroplane. it was my second time taking a plane and when the plane took off, i was singing F.I.R's wo yao fei. call me crazy, but i always sang that song when the plane i'm on is taking off. i find it really special, somehow it just added a magical touch to the entire take-off. ((:

we landed at bangkok international airport at about 2 pm. the airport wasn't as efficient as singapore's and the condition of the airport wasn't as well as singapore's too. no wonder ours is the WORLD'S FIRST CLASS AIRPORT hor? hehes. anyway, our tour guide was supposed to pick us up at the airport after we landed, but he was late! nvm. he's a nice guy. shall talk more abt him later on. lols.

the tour guide dropped us off at the hotel after that. we only managed to reached the hotel at about 5 plus. wonder why? because of the TRAFFIC JAM! it was so damn bloody freaking packed with vehicles! but i got to see a lot of tings during the drive to the hotel. such as i learned how much the thai's respected thier king. they had pictures of thier king everywhere. thy worshipped him like he was god! don't you dare to utter a word of disrespect about thier king! because if you do, your legs might be chopped off and you might be a beggar there for the rest of your life. i ain't joking ok. also, in singapore, you ain't allowed to sell food at the road side right? becuase it's polluted and it will be really unhygenic if you do. but you can do so in bangkok! but i never ate at the roadside stalls coz the air pollution in bangkok was really bad and i don wanna die of food poisoning. LOL. anyway, there is a lot of things that you can see there that you can never get to see here in singapore. it is indeed a special place, but i kinda missed my home and my family and friends i have here, in singapore, when i'm away.

we checked in and unpacked our luggages in the hotel room. then, we took a bath before heading to our first stop, siam centre!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

[ siam center! the center of fun! ]

we walked around aimlessly at the shopping centre and realised that our stomach's were growling and wasn't in the mood to shop as we had not eaten anything since morning! we crossed an overhead bridge and had our dinner at MK restaurant located at the opposite of siam centre. we had steamboat there and it was freaking cheap! the entire dinner was only S$17 for two person! we even ate thier famous duck even though there was bird flu in thier country. lols. MK restaurant was supposed to open it's branches in singapore, but due to some reasons, thy withdrew the proposal to open it's branches here. such a pity eh? they serve good food leh! anyway, aft dinner, we went back to siam centre to shop but i din bought anything dere. why? because the things there are so much more expensive den products being sold in singapore! nvm! we shall attack the market tml! i wan cheap stuffs! lols. as the time was kinda late, we went back to the hotel to rest and it marked the end of day one. ((:
