cynthia nominated yours truly for the hey! gorgeous show on channel u! although i heard about this show from koon jia and he wanted to nominate me initially, i wasn't very interested because i didn't care about the fame. then, i came to know that there's actually a prize of 10k to be won if you're the winner!
SO VOTE 10 TIMES PER DAY AND RATE 5 STARS OKAY! :Danyway, i got my brand new N73 music edition last thursday and i am so freaking happy about it. you should have seen the smile that was plastered on my face when it was freshly delivered to my house. the expression was classic when i laid my hands on it for the first time.
i spent the rest of the night exploring most of the functions (not forgetting the intense mugging for my test in the wee hours of the morning later) without even reading much of the user guide and there are so many new functions that my old phone doesn't even have. there's just so much so much so much! i'm gonna glance through the user guide when i'm free to see what new goodies this phone has to offer.
so far, i'm quite pleased with my new phone. :D
anyway, there are a truckload of photos for this entry. thanks to my new phone's 3.2 megapixels camera. (with flash!)
there was plenty of work for me to do last week and it's finally time to reward myself with some fun over the weekends!

after a frustrating day in school on friday, it was time to put that BIG O'S 10 dollars voucher to good use. i met up with sean for dinner and he made me wait for almost half an hour. (it's okay though since he's always waiting for me whenever we have meet ups.) he was lucky cos i was busy experimenting on my new phone so i didn't really mind. haha.
off we went to BIG O's to have dinner! (it was sean's treat because ... he strike 4D ah! :D)
it was cynthia's birthday on sunday and we're supposed to have a stay over at a hotel on saturday so that we can actually count down to her birthday. sadly, the hotel that we're supposed to be staying at is fully booked. (thanks to cynthia's last minute booking ah.) from what i heard, the hotel is really posh and beautiful and there are many facilities there too. aww.
in the end, we ended up staying at hotel 81 fuji which is situated at balestier. but surprise surprise! the hotel wasn't even sleazy like how everyone stereotyped it to be. it was surprisingly nice and comfy. :D
i met cynthia and ken at newton mrt in the afternoon and we went to reserve the hotel so that we can check in at 7 pm. don't ask me why we can't check in right away, that's the hotel policy.
then, off we went to shaw plaza's macdonals! we filled our tummies with some junk food before cynthia went off to meet her family for dinner. ken and me spent the rest of our time at macdonals crapping the afternoon away while watching some hard rock videos at the same time! (he's trying to influence me to become a hard rock chic! haha.)
after cynthia came back, the three of us checked in to the hotel first and the gang slowly joined us for the night ...
... and we begin our games and drinking for the night!

soon, flora got drunk and we took care of her for the night and after the massive chores that we did, we got really hungry and we went down to have supper!
after that, we went back to shaw plaza to pack some food for cynthia and ken who are taking care of flora back in the hotel. once i was back in the hotel, i immediately took a shower and so did the rest. then, ah neh and kang wei went back and the rest of us went to bed.
i had trouble sleeping for the night because of the constant snoring from everyone and i woke up every now and then. this explains why once we checked out from the hotel and after having breakfast, i immediately went back home to catch up on my sleep. :\
